Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) Tax Incentive
Federal investment tax credit refunding a portion of eligible R&D expenditures for Canadian businesses.
AmountTax credit, not cash grant. CCPCs: 35% refundable up to expenditure limit ($6M for tax years after Dec 15 2024); others 15%. Value scales with R&D spend.
