How I got here

Founder & Chief Mood Curator. Built TK Scent Experience around the idea that fragrance changes how a space feels, not just how it looks.

How it started

TK Scent Experience did not begin with a candle. It began with a memory: the way a Caribbean home announced itself before you reached the door, the scent that meant guests were welcome, a celebration was underway, someone had taken the time to make an ordinary evening feel like an occasion. Founder Wendy Huggins grew up inside that, and she never lost the conviction that a smell could turn a house into a home.

Years later, that memory became a thesis. Huggins, who signs herself Founder and Chief Mood Curator, built the brand around a single idea: fragrance changes how we feel. The candles, reed diffusers, body butters and mists are all handcrafted in Canada with clean, skin-safe ingredients, but the catalogue is not organized by product. It is organized by mood.

The scents carry the heritage right on their labels. Rum Punch on the Beach. Ms. Julie Mango. Soursop Dream. Passion Ting. They read like a family table, and that is exactly the point.

You don't buy fragrance because something is missing. You buy fragrance because you want to create a feeling. — Wendy Huggins
